About us

Careful Wallpaper Work Built Around South Florida Homes

Custom Wallpaper Installer hangs, removes and repairs wallcoverings for homes and businesses across Pompano Beach and the surrounding Broward and south Palm Beach communities. Our work starts before the first roll is opened. We look at the wall surface, check for old adhesive, patched drywall and signs of moisture, and talk through how the room is used. South Florida's long, humid wet season from May through October affects how paste cures and how some papers behave, so we plan priming, adhesive choice and timing around the conditions in your home. We work with traditional pastes, prepasted papers, grasscloth, vinyl, murals and peel-and-stick products. We'll tell you plainly when a product isn't a good match for a bathroom, a sunny wall or a textured surface. When the job is done, we clean up, remove trimmings and walk the room with you so you can see the seams, corners and edges up close.

What to expect

How a visit goes

  1. Preparation Comes First

Most wallpaper problems start with the wall, not the paper. We remove old coverings, repair dents and cracks, smooth textured areas where needed, and prime with a product suited to the wallcovering you've chosen.

  2. Straight Answers About Materials

Grasscloth, vinyl, murals and peel-and-stick each behave differently in humid rooms, on ceilings and in direct sun. We'll explain the tradeoffs so you can pick a product that fits the space and how you live in it.

  3. Respect for Your Home

We cover floors, move and protect furniture as needed, and keep the work area organized. At the end of the day, we clean up so your home is livable while the project is underway.

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Call (561) 944-3314 and we’ll talk it through.

Does South Florida's humidity affect wallpaper installation?

It can. Our wet season runs from roughly May through October and is hot and humid, which can slow paste drying and cause some papers to expand. We check wall conditions, choose suitable primers and adhesives, and recommend keeping your air conditioning running steadily before, during and after installation.

Can you hang new wallpaper over old wallpaper?

We generally don't recommend it. Old paper can loosen, show seams through the new layer or trap moisture. In most cases we remove the existing covering, repair the wall and prime it so the new paper bonds properly.

Is grasscloth a good choice for a South Florida home?

Grasscloth adds natural texture, but it's sensitive to moisture and can fade in strong sunlight. It works well in bedrooms, living rooms and offices. We usually steer clients away from using it in bathrooms, kitchens or rooms with heavy direct sun.

Do you install peel-and-stick wallpaper?

Yes. Peel-and-stick is a good option for renters, accent walls and smaller projects. It still needs a smooth, clean, properly primed surface to stay put, especially in humid rooms, so we prepare the wall before applying it.

Can you wallpaper a ceiling?

Yes. Ceiling wallpaper takes careful planning for pattern alignment and seam placement. We check the ceiling surface for cracks, stains or texture first and recommend lighter-weight papers when they suit the design.

Do I need to buy the wallpaper before you come out?

Not necessarily. We can look at the space first and help you figure out how much material you'll need, accounting for pattern repeat and waste. If you've already chosen a paper, we'll review it to confirm it's a good fit for the room.

Do you work on commercial projects?

Yes. We install vinyl and other commercial wallcoverings in offices, retail spaces, restaurants and other businesses. We can discuss scheduling that keeps disruption to your operations as low as possible.

Should I avoid scheduling during hurricane season?

Not at all. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, and we work throughout it. If a storm threatens, we'll stay in touch and reschedule as needed so your project and your home stay protected.

Ready to Plan Your Wallpaper Project?

Tell us about the room, the look you want and any wallpaper you have in mind. We'll talk through wall condition, material options and next steps so you know what to expect before work begins.
